It’s that time of year again – the leaves are changing, the air is getting colder, and the basement is full of clutter. It seems like every year we promise ourselves that we will clean it out, but somehow never quite get around to it. This year, let’s make a change! Now that the main area is clean, it’s time to focus on the details. Take a look at all of the items in your basement and decide what needs to be thrown away, donated, or stored elsewhere. This is also a good time to organize things so you can easily find what you need when you need it.

Once everything is sorted, it’s time to put everything back in its place. Be sure to label storage containers so you know exactly what is inside of them. And that’s it! You’ve now cleaned out your basement and created more space for whatever you need.
